in this blog I will be looking at different famous cults and exploring what could be defined as a modern cult.
Since this is my first post I wanted to consider one of the most famous cults of all time, the Manson Family.
Charles Manson age 77, the leader of this particular cult is still alive and resides in the California State Prison System.
The Manson family really became famous after the Tate/LeBlanc murders which the group ended up going to jail for.
They are famous for the term helter skelter, a message they left at the site of the murder. It is originally from a Beatles song. Manson believed that this particular Beatles album had some sort of secret message. Crazy, right?
Charles himself had spent most of his life in and out of institutions as he grew up.
When talking about cults a lot of people wonder HOW and WHY people believe all of this stuff. People assume I would not be subject to this type of mind control!
but how do you know?

People like Charles Manson have an extraordinary way in which they can control peoples actions and understanding of a situation.
As I continue to post I will talk about different types of mind control and the personality traits which are normally present in cult leaders. For now, just remember CHARISMA.
I'm sure you know someone who is a wonderful talker,
they can talk themselves out of anything,
or talk others into doing something for them.
Cult leaders like Manson, Jim Jones, and many others have this ability but almost to an inhuman level.
It's very impressive, but scary.
